Sign in and your account
How signing in to Willo works without a password, where your account settings are, and how to change the email address you sign in with.
On this page
Willo has no passwords. You sign in with Google, or with a link and a one-time code that Willo emails you. There is nothing to set, change or reset.
Signing in
On the sign-in page, choose one:
- Continue with Google. One click, nothing emailed. Use the Google account you signed up with.
- Continue with email. Enter your address. Willo sends an email with a sign-in button and a one-time code.
The Check your email screen has a One-time code box and a Verify code button. Typing the code is the most reliable way in, especially when the link opens in a different browser or a work email scanner gets to it first. The button in the email works too. Each link and code works once.
If you don't remember how you signed up, try Continue with Google first. If it takes you to your businesses, that's your account. If you land on an empty dashboard, that Google account isn't the one you signed up with: sign out and try your email instead.
Your account settings
Open your avatar (bottom of the left rail inside a business, or top right on My businesses) and choose Account settings. There you can change your email address, display name and avatar.
The same avatar menu has Team & organization, Billing, the theme switch and Sign out. On My businesses it also has Refer a friend; inside a business, that's the gift icon on the rail.
Changing your email
- Open Account settings and choose Change beside your email.
- Enter the new address and save.
- Willo sends a confirmation link to your current address and your new one. Click both. Your email changes only after both are confirmed; until then you stay signed in under the old one.
Check spam in both inboxes if a link doesn't arrive.
If your account signs in only with Google, the email field can't be edited and says Managed by Google. Write to support@willo.ai to change it.
Organizations and businesses
When you sign up, Willo creates an organization for you. Your plan and credits belong to the organization, and every business in it shares them. You are its owner.
People can also invite you into their organization, or into one of their businesses. You then see those businesses on My businesses, beside your own. See Roles.
Keeping your account safe
- Nobody at Willo, and nothing in Willo's chat, will ask for your sign-in link or code. Never share them.
- Signing out on a shared computer: avatar menu → Sign out.
Leaving
- Cancelling your plan pauses your businesses; it doesn't delete anything. See Change, pause or cancel your plan.
- Deleting your account is permanent and goes through support. See Delete a business or your account.
