DMCA & Copyright Policy

Last updated: September 11, 2026

Willo, Inc. ("Willo," "we," "us," or "our") respects the intellectual property rights of others. Consistent with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), we respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement submitted to our designated Copyright Agent as described below.

This policy applies to websites and content hosted, stored, or made available through Willo's platform and services (the "Platform"), including websites and content retrieved, rebuilt, or migrated at a user's direction. It covers content accessible through Willo-provided domains and subdomains, preview addresses, and customer-connected domains.

1. Designated Copyright Agent

Send copyright infringement notices, counter-notices, and related communications to:

Please direct general support and billing inquiries through Willo's ordinary support channels at support@willo.ai.

2. Copyright Infringement Notices

If you believe that your copyright has been infringed by material on or through the Platform, please provide the following information in a written notice to our designated Copyright Agent:

  1. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by one notice, you may provide a representative list of those works.
  2. A description of the material you claim is infringing and information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it on the Platform. Please include specific URLs, such as a customer-connected domain, Willo subdomain, preview address, or asset URL, and identify the relevant images, text, files, or other content when possible.
  3. Your contact information, including an address, telephone number, and, if available, email address. Please include an email address whenever possible to facilitate timely communication. You may also provide a different email address for the affected user to contact you.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right allegedly infringed.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature as the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Before submitting a notice, consider whether the use is authorized by the copyright owner or permitted by law, including fair use.

Willo or its Copyright Agent may request additional information to evaluate or locate the material identified in a notice. If a notice is incomplete but substantially identifies the copyrighted work, the allegedly infringing material, and sufficient contact information, we will promptly attempt to contact the sender or take other reasonable steps to assist in obtaining a substantially compliant notice.

3. Our Response to Notices

Upon receipt of a copyright infringement notice, Willo will take action appropriate to the circumstances, consistent with the DMCA. We will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material when required to maintain the applicable DMCA safe harbor.

We reserve discretion to determine the appropriate measures, including removing or disabling access to particular content, restricting access to a page or website, and suspending or terminating accounts where appropriate. We may also act when we otherwise obtain knowledge or awareness of infringement that warrants action under applicable law.

When we remove or disable access to user content in response to a copyright notice, we will take reasonable steps promptly to notify the affected user. We may provide that user with a copy of the notice, including the sender's contact information, so the user can understand and respond to the allegations.

Removal or disabling of access does not constitute a determination that infringement has occurred.

4. Websites and Content on the Platform

This policy applies to content hosted through Willo, including content retrieved, rebuilt, or migrated at a user's direction.

Users are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for content they direct Willo to retrieve, rebuild, migrate, or host. Public availability of a website, or control of its domain, does not by itself establish permission to use every image, text passage, or other asset on that website.

Our actions apply to material or access within our control. Removing material from the Platform does not remove copies independently hosted by unrelated third parties.

5. Counter-Notices

If your content was removed or access was disabled in response to a copyright infringement notice, and you believe this resulted from mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notice to our designated Copyright Agent.

Your counter-notice must substantially include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal or disabling.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number.
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located or, if your address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which Willo may be found.
  6. A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original copyright notice or that person's agent.

Please also provide an email address, if available, so we can communicate with you.

We will provide a copy of a substantially compliant counter-notice, including the contact information it contains, to the person who submitted the original copyright notice. That person may choose to bring a court action concerning the disputed material.

6. Restoration Following a Counter-Notice

Upon receipt of a substantially compliant counter-notice, we will promptly provide a copy to the person who submitted the original copyright notice and inform that person that we will restore the removed material or cease disabling access to it in 10 business days.

We will restore the material or cease disabling access not less than 10 and not more than 14 business days following receipt of the substantially compliant counter-notice, unless our designated Copyright Agent first receives notice from the original complainant that the complainant has filed an action seeking a court order restraining the user from engaging in infringing activity relating to that material on the Platform.

7. Repeat Infringers

Willo has adopted and reasonably implements a policy providing for termination, in appropriate circumstances, of subscribers and account holders who are repeat infringers, consistent with our Terms of Service.

Users may not circumvent copyright restrictions imposed by Willo by re-uploading or re-migrating restricted content, using another domain, or creating another account. This does not prevent restoration through the counter-notice process described above.

8. Misrepresentations

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for resulting damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, as provided by law.

Do not submit knowingly false or materially misleading notices or counter-notices.

9. Other Intellectual Property Complaints

The DMCA notice and counter-notice process described in this policy concerns copyright. Please direct trademark and other non-copyright complaints through Willo's ordinary support channels at support@willo.ai.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights, remedies, or defenses available under applicable law.
