Referrals and affiliates

Willo's two ways to earn by recommending it, referral credits in the dashboard and cash commission through the affiliate program, and how they differ.

Willo has two programs for people who recommend it. They pay differently and work separately.

Referrals: credits

Every Willo account has a personal invite link.

  • Where: Refer, the gift icon at the bottom of the left rail inside a business, or Refer a friend in your avatar menu on My businesses.
  • What you get: when someone signs up through your link and their first build finishes, you both get credits. The page shows the amount for your account.
  • No code: rewards are matched through the link and land on their own. There's nothing to type in anywhere.
  • The page can also make a link that shows off one business you built.

Referral credits are a reward for real sign-ups. Sign-ups that look like self-referrals are held back.

Affiliates: cash

The affiliate program is for people who want to recommend Willo to an audience:

  • 20% recurring commission on every paid invoice, for as long as the customer stays subscribed.
  • A 30-day window to attribute a sign-up to your link.
  • Monthly payouts by PayPal, Wise or Payoneer once your balance passes $50.

It runs on Tolt, outside Willo: your affiliate link, dashboard and payouts all live there. Apply from the affiliates page. Bidding on Willo's name in search ads, and referring yourself, aren't allowed.

Discount codes

A discount or promotion code isn't a referral. It goes in the code field on the Stripe checkout page when you subscribe from Billing. Top-up purchases don't take codes. If you've already subscribed and have a code to apply, contact support.
