Buy more credits

Add credits with a one-time top-up or a monthly add-on, when a bigger plan is the better buy, and what happens to purchased credits later.

When your plan's credits run low before the month is out, you can buy a one-time top-up, add a monthly credit add-on, move to a bigger plan, or wait for your credits to refresh on your billing date.

Buy a top-up

You need to be an admin or the owner of the organization, on a paid plan.

  1. Open your avatar and choose Billing. Or open the credits chip at the bottom of the left rail and choose Top up.
  2. Under One-time top-ups, pick a pack.
  3. Pay on the Stripe checkout page.

The credits land in your organization's pool straight away, for every business to use.

What happens to top-up credits

  • They never expire, month to month, and even if your plan ends.
  • Willo spends your monthly plan credits first, and top-up credits after.
  • They don't renew. A top-up is a single purchase.

Add credits every month

If you need more each month without changing plan, add a Monthly credit add-on on Billing. It's billed with your subscription, prorated for the current month, and its credits are added to your pool straight away and again at each renewal. Removing it keeps the credits you already received. While your plan is ending, you can keep or lower an add-on but not raise it.

Top-up, add-on or a bigger plan?

Top-up packs cost more per credit than any plan or add-on. If you top up most months, an add-on or the next plan up is usually cheaper, and a bigger plan also raises your other limits. Compare them on the pricing page, or ask Willo: "should I top up or upgrade?"

When you can't buy a top-up

  • On Free: top-ups are for paid plans. Choose a plan instead.
  • While your plan is paused, or after it has ended: you can't buy a top-up. Resume or choose a plan first. See Change, pause or cancel your plan.
  • With a promotion code: codes work only when you subscribe to a plan, not on a top-up.

Spending less

  • Ask for the free things freely: questions, status checks and reading cost nothing.
  • Fix wording and colors yourself with Edit text and the Brand drawer, which are free.
  • Batch related changes into one clear request rather than many small corrections.
  • In a very long chat each request has more to read; start a new chat when the subject changes.
  • Check the Growth Engine's daily budget in Settings → Autonomy.
