Your business context

The short summary of your business that Willo reads in every conversation: what goes in it, who writes it, and how to edit it in Settings → Memory.

Your business context is a short brief about your business that Willo has in front of it in every conversation. It is how Willo remembers who you are without being told again: your name, what you sell, who to, how you sound, and what matters right now.

What goes in it

Keep it to what should shape every single reply:

  • Identity: what the business is, in a sentence or two, and who it serves.
  • Voice: how you write. "Warm and plain-spoken, never salesy. British spelling."
  • Names that could be confused: "Portals means our 3D studio, not the crypto company of the same name."
  • Key decisions that stand: "UK delivery only for now."
  • The current focus: the goal that matters most this month.

Everything else belongs elsewhere: long-form thinking in documents, plans on the roadmap, individual choices in the decision register.

The 2,000-character limit

The context is capped at 2,000 characters, about 300 words. The limit is deliberate: a short context stays focused, and Willo reads all of it in every conversation. When it's full, consolidate rather than append. The editor shows a running count and won't save past the limit.

Who writes it

  • Willo seeds it when your business is created, from what it learned in your first session.
  • Willo keeps it current as you work together. Small updates apply directly. A big rewrite of something you or Willo already wrote, or cutting a large part of it, needs your OK in chat first.
  • You edit it whenever you like.

Every save keeps the previous version in its history, and the card shows a revision number. The Growth Engine and Agent Programs read your context but can't change it.

Edit it

  1. In your business, open Settings → Memory.
  2. On the Context card, edit the text directly. Any teammate can read it; editors, admins and owners can change it.
  3. Click Save.

Generate with AI drafts a fresh context from your brand details and your live site, and saves it straight away as a new revision. Read it afterwards and edit anything that's off. Copy your current text somewhere first if you might want it back.

Context and Sources

The same Memory page also holds Sources: material saved for Willo to look up word for word when it needs to, such as a price list or a policy. The context is the always-on summary; Sources are the reference shelf.
