Domains

Custom domains, DNS, branded subdomains, and what happens when a business is renamed.

Get started

• Get started with domains: Every Willo site has a free bywillo.ai address from day one. Here is how that address works and when to connect a domain you own.

Concept

• DNS records for your domain: Which DNS records point a domain at your Willo site, root domain versus subdomain, and how to leave your email records untouched.
• Your site's official address: How your site tells search engines, link previews and AI search which address is its real one, and what changes when a custom domain goes live.

Guide

• Connect a custom domain: Point a domain you own at your Willo site, from entering it in Settings to HTTPS going live, without breaking the email on that domain.
• Change or replace your domain: Fix a mistyped domain, move to a new one after a rebrand, or remove a custom domain, and what visitors see while the change goes through.
