# Business records troubleshooting

> What to check when goals are missing, a roadmap task won't complete, a decision seems ignored, a document won't edit, or Willo forgets something.

## I have no goals

If you started with an app, or a website for a business you already run, Willo doesn't set goals in the first session. That's by design. Ask Willo to add one whenever you're ready: see [Set a goal and let Willo plan against it](https://www.willo.ai/docs/business-records/set-a-goal-and-let-willo-plan-against-it).

## A goal is missing from the Overview

The Overview shows only your most recent active goals, so a long list is cut short there. Ask Willo "what are my active goals?" to see every active one. Paused, completed and cancelled goals aren't listed.

## I can't edit a goal on the dashboard

Goals are changed in chat: "set the newsletter goal to 40%", "pause the wholesale goal", "mark the launch goal completed". There's no edit button for them on the dashboard. To reword a goal, ask Willo to cancel it and add the new wording as a fresh goal.

## Willo won't mark a task complete

Tasks are marked complete by the Growth Engine when it runs them, or by you on **Business → Roadmap**. Willo can't tick a task off from chat, even one it just helped with, so mark those complete yourself on the Roadmap page.

## I can't delete a roadmap task

You can delete tasks you added yourself. Tasks Willo created can be **skipped** instead, which takes them out of the queue and keeps the record.

## The roadmap isn't moving

- **The Growth Engine is off.** It starts switched off. Turn it on in **Settings → Autonomy** if you want Willo to work through the roadmap on its own. On Free it isn't available, and Willo works only when you chat.
- **The daily spending limit was reached.** Autonomous work pauses and resumes on its own once spending over the past 24 hours drops back under the limit. You can raise the limit in **Settings → Autonomy**.
- **The next tasks need you.** The Growth Engine skips tasks flagged as needing you. See [Clear what's waiting on you](https://www.willo.ai/docs/business-records/clear-whats-waiting-on-you).

## Willo seems to ignore a decision

Willo looks up the decision register when a question touches it, not on every message. If a decision should shape everything, add one line about it to your [business context](https://www.willo.ai/docs/business-records/business-context), which Willo reads every time.

## I can't edit a document

Designed PDFs and landing-page documents can't be edited in the Documents folder; ask Willo in chat for a new version. Viewers can read and download documents but not edit them. In chat, Willo asks you to confirm before it changes or deletes a document.

## "Where is the PDF you made me?"

In **Assets → Documents**, with the other documents Willo wrote for you.

## Willo keeps forgetting something

Put it in your business context: **Settings → Memory**, the Context card. It's in front of Willo in every conversation. If the context is at its 2,000-character limit, trim something less important first.
