# Change the design

> Change your site's colors, fonts, logo and corners for free in the Brand drawer, and ask Willo in chat for layout, sections and a fuller redesign.

Design changes come in two sizes. Your brand's colors, fonts, logo and corner shape change in the **Brand** drawer, for free, in seconds. Layout, sections, images and a fuller redesign are chat work.

## Colors, fonts, logo and corners: the Brand drawer

1. Open **Site** and click the paintbrush icon in the edit tools floating at the bottom of the preview. The **Brand** drawer opens over the chat, with the preview still visible.
2. Change what you want:
   - **Colors**: Brand, Surface and Accent.
   - **Fonts**: a display font and a body font from a set of Google fonts, or one of the **Font pairings**.
   - **Logo & shape**: upload your logo, and set how rounded corners are across the site.

   Every change repaints the real preview at once.
3. Click **Save brand**. The whole site restyles from one set of design values, and the site rebuilds in a few minutes. With drafting on, the change goes to the draft until you publish.

The drawer is free: no credits and no chat turn. Saving needs the editor role or higher.

### Start from a site you already have

If you have a site elsewhere with your brand on it, paste its address into **Already have a website?** in the Brand drawer and choose **Import**. Willo reads its colors, fonts, logo and corner style and fills them into the drawer for you to review before saving. It's free. Check the logo before you save.

### Older sites

On a site built before the Brand drawer existed, the drawer offers **Modernize**. It switches the site over to design values while keeping its current colors, instantly and for free. If the drawer says a site has colors written into its sections, **Fix hardcoded colors** hands that clean-up to Willo in chat, and the Willo team credits back what it uses.

> **Tip.**
>
> Change colors and fonts in the drawer rather than asking Willo to edit the stylesheet. The drawer is free, and its next save rewrites those values anyway.

## Layout, sections and a redesign: ask in chat

The drawer changes design values only. For anything else, ask Willo:

- "Make the hero a full-width photo with the headline over it."
- "Replace the three feature cards with alternating image and text rows."
- "The services page feels cramped on a phone. Give it more room."
- "Redesign the site to feel more premium and quiet."

For a redesign, Willo first writes the direction in one sentence, tied to your business, and tells you. Every later choice is checked against it, so if the sentence is wrong, correct it before the work starts. Then it sets the system (palette, type, spacing) and carries it through the pages.

Willo uses your own photos and products first, then royalty-free stock. It does not generate images.

## Check the result

Look at the pages that changed in the preview, at desktop and phone sizes. Wording fixes are free with **Edit text** in the toolbar. To take a change back, use **Undo** on it in **Business → Activity**. See [Undo a change](https://www.willo.ai/docs/chat/undo-a-change).

## Brand voice is somewhere else

The drawer sets your visual brand. Your brand's voice and tone, which shape how Willo writes, are part of the business's context in **Settings → Memory**.
