**Backend schema.** Without `table`: the names of its tables (describe one for the rest). With `table`: that table's columns, types, defaults, constraints, indexes and policies. Reads the draft backend while drafting, otherwise live (pass `target` to choose). Results carry a `[Backend: …]` line naming which copy answered. Free, read-only.

## Access

- **Token**: read or read + act.
- **Approval**: Never. This tool only reads.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |

| `table` | string | no | A table name to describe. Omit to list all tables. |
| `target` | string (draft or live) | no | Which copy of the backend to read. Omit for the default: the draft backend while the business is drafting, otherwise the live one. Pass "live" to read what is published right now even mid-draft. |
